“Tilt-Lapse” Taken to the Next Level

If you know me you know I’m a fan of both time lapse AND tilt-shift photography.  While both of these methods are unusual they’re certainly not new but done well, can produce stunning images.  It’s been quite some time since the mediums have been challenged, and the following video really takes things to the next level. In comes Keith Loutit.  You might remember him from the “Bathtub IV” tilt-shift video I posted a few years back.  He’s been playing with focal lengths in his latest AMAZING short.

He says, “For ‘The Lion City’, the idea behind the extension of the tilt shift technique is for focus and distance to be something the viewer can experience.”

There is more information on the shooting here!

Cheers!
